Hello, I have started work on a new version of the vim-latex homepage which includes a FAQ. Most of these issues can be addressed there. Take a look: http://vim-latex.sourceforge.net/new/ This web-page has been made into a cvs module called htdocs. So if you want, you can make changes to it. This question has been asked enough times that it warrants being a FAQ.
