In the installation of vim-latex from
 http://vim-latex.sourceforge.net/index.php?subject=download&title=Download

helptags ~/.vim/doc     (for *nix users)
 semicolon is missing and makes newbies  like me frustrated. It'll be
easier for us if you include it and write like this
*:*helptags ~/.vim/doc     (for *nix users)
