[Vim-latex-devel] cite completion does not work well

Sorry to write to this list; I couldn't find a vim-latex-user one.
I've been using vim-latex for quite a long time and at some point cite
completions sopped working properly.

If I use a .bib file, it works fine. But otherwise, if I have a
\begin{thebibliography} inside the .tex file, it just does
nothing.
Apparently texviewer.vim uses only the function Tex_FindBibFiles() and
it does not search inside the .tex file. Is this the intended behaviour?
