hi, i'm running 1.6.1 from http://ppa.launchpad.net/rw-norris/viking/ubuntu (trusty).
upon opening a gpx-file generated with "osm tracker for android" app, any pictures attached to waypoints will not be shown. double-clicking the thumbnail container in "show picture" mode gives the following message in the shell:
gvfs-open:
: error opening location: Error when getting information for file '/home/pewe/
': No such file or directory
the same is true when doing a show picture from the context menue of the waypoint. on testing it seems, that the directory given in the message equals the the launch directory of viking (i indeed tried to launch from the directory of the pictures, just for fun, to no success).
looking up the waypoint properties, behalf of the context menue of the waypoint, show a crypted entry in the image path input field, whereever this ma come from, see the attachement.
i don't think that the gpx-file is the cause of the problem because, for example, gpx viewer on android or gpsprune on linux do load the content just fine.

Yes unfortunately Viking's handling of the <link> tag seems broken.
    Thanks for reporting this.

I have the same problem usgin 1.6.2, seems like the bug is still there. I can't edit any GPX, a shame, since all the rest seems to be working like a charm...
