Dear Leena Sorry for my delayed answer concerning the settings and the import from the CVS repository. I tried it again and I had no problems to connect to the project's CVS from my Eclipse. I tried in a fresh workbench, therefore, I had absolutely no presetted data which could disturb the creation of the CVS Repository Location. Here's the information I provided: Host: cvs.sourceforge.net Repository path: /cvsroot/vif User: anonymous No Password is needed for anonymous checkout. I found a better way to import code form CVS then I discribed in my mail from 2004-10-11. It's far better to use the import wizard for an initial CVS checkout. Here are the steps needed to do that: 1. Call File->Import... to display the import wizard. 2. Select "Checkout Projects from CVS" as import source. -> Next 3. Select the repository location you created already (i.e. :pserver:ano...@cv...:/cvsroot/vif). -> Next 4. Use an existing module to import: Select one of the projects displayed in the list. (Remember the name of the project you selected) -> Next 5. Choose "Check out as a project configured using the New Project Wizard" -> Next 6. Choose HEAD to import from. -> Finish You're now asked for some information to create the appropriate project to import the data from the CVS. 7. If you import a Java Project, you have to select the Java Project izard. -> Next 8. As project name you enter the name of the project you selected for import. -> Finish Hope that works in your workspace as smoothly as in mine.
