The leading - vertical space between the text baselines - is large enough to not have overlapping glyphs between lines. No adjustment is necessary. You have a problem with the default leading?

Yes, without adding at least 10 pixels of vertical spacing, tesseract always spits out error that blobs are overlapping.

How come there's no setting for vertical spacing, when creating TIFF/box for training?

I verified the TIFF generated does not have overlapping blobs. The lines are adequately spaced apart. Can you post an example of TIFF/Box overlapping?
