In February 2001, I started working for Oracle Corporation in the UK. I have tried to get permission to continue working on ViennaSQL. So far I have been unable to do so and my manager has asked me to stop maintaining it. I think this is a entirely reasonable position for Oracle to take: ViennaSQL doesn't fit with Oracle's plans and could be seen as a competitor to some of Oracle's tools. To continue maintaining ViennaSQL could leave me open to accusations of conflict of interests.... read more

Version 1.2 fixes a bug in export which caused a null pointer exception with some JDBC drivers.

This release fixes a minor bug: The drop-down list of connections now shows the correct connection name when a second connection is opened.

I have removed the project files from the SourceForge project page for ViennaSQL as maintaining them is a nightmare. Please download from the project's home page instead. The home page is http://vienna.sourceforge.net/

This release fixes a bug which prevented some characters (eg &) in database URLs.

This release includes undo and redo editing options and a splash screen.
