Hi,
I've frequently wanted to copy object IDs (long hex
strings) from the results table for use in an email or
another query.
A right-click copy like DbVisualizer's would be great.
I use Vienna daily because I like the tabbed interface
to queries I've saved. Thanks very much.

Any preferences for the keyboard shortcuts (remembering
this is a Java app and needs to be fully cross-platform and
cross UI - unless otherwise noted, I'd like to use SQING
defaults, vice Oracle GUI or other db-specific mappings)

The standard Ctrl+ shortcuts would work fine.
X cut
C copy
V paste
I would hope it could work with any number of cells
selected.
Thanks, Mark

Cell func and spread shouldn't be a problem...just limited
by memory available to the buffer...would you want multiple
buffers/buffer formats (not just default SQL, but also
java, html, xml and text)?

Hi Mike,
DbVizualizer does tab-separated text, which works well for
my needs. I suppose HTML would be useful to put the
results in a table, but I don't really have a need for it.
Thanks a bunch,
Mark

Hi,
I modified the source to allow individual and multiple
cell section rather than row selection. Ctrl-C then
copies the text in the selected cells to the clipboard in a
tabbed format suitable for pasting into Excel or text
files.
Let me know if you want it. markd<Nosp^M>bullock at
