I am using Mac OS 10.6.2 and Video Monkey Verson .06
The Error message I get is:
Error parsing commands.xm
zero byte resource.
Just to make sure it wasn't a bad avi file, I tried one that I converted last night successfully.
I restarted my computer, I re-downloaded Video Monkey and I deleted the preferences file that was in user/lib/prefs.
Any ideas, I use Video Monkey every day.

I figured out part of the problem. it seems that the tvdb.org website is down. I have my preferences set to check that.
I temporarily set to to moviedb.org, then I manually input the information. To get it right, I usually go the whatever show I am tagging and do a Google Search on *showname* episode guide. Then, I use google images to find a nice Icon for the show.
Time consuming ..Yes, but it works.
