Subject: [videodb-devel] Patch to add support for Allocine.fr
I've just completed a patch to the release version 2.0.2 to add support =
the French movie site Allocin=E9 (http://allocine.fr). I've tested the =
with a data set consisting of a friend's ~550 DVD collection, and I =
I've ironed out all of the bugs. The patch file I'm including alters =
templates and the config file to allow for the new engine, and I've =
the engine file as well. Since the actors system doesn't currently =
multiple engines, the generation of photos from ID's is untested (and
probably not working), but if no one else is working on that, I'd be =
to give it a shot myself.
If you've got any questions, please let me know.

I'm working on improving the TVTome/episodes support by grouping episodes
under a parent movie, see attached screenshot. Currently there'd be no
intrated way to create such items, only through the contrib/tvtome script,
but it seems to be an approach worth pursuing?
If anybody in interested in these changes, I'll commit them to CVS, DB-wise
it's nothing more than the addition of a parent_id column.
well i would really like that, and as i suggested before , maybe it would be
possible in the tvtome mass add script to give the option to create a new
entry instead just updating an existing one ...
like when i have an empty databse and i for example want to add all jag
episodes i can mark them all in the tvtome.php in contrib and it will add
them as new entries.
cause for alot big series creating hundreds of fields first ( which you have
now, since it only can edit existing entries) so you can use tvtome.php to
add them is way too much work :(
