VideoCAT 1.2.1 released

Videocat is a image capture software based on Microsoft DirectShow API. The main focus is to provide a simple tool to make stopmotion and/or accelerated movies by grabing single frames in a regular interval. Frames are written as individual images for subsequent processing. Visit the project home page[1] to know more about it and the features VideoCAT offers.

The 1.2.x branch adds the speed that VideoCAT lacked in previous releases. One can capture time lapses with a 250ms interval while merging a mask or chroma-key (this was only possible at 850ms). VideoCAT forums now open to public!

VideoCAT Forums (http://sourceforge.net/forum/?group_id=83526) are now open to general public! I hope this helps bringing support and feedback for those who need. Feel free to post comments and questions.

New VideoCAT release available!

A new version of VideoCAT was released today.

VideoCAT Updates

VideoCAT 1.0.6 is comming soon with lots of new features (like chroma-key) and redesigned interface (now with multiple windows). To version 1.2.0 we are trying to implement MMX/SSE functions and OpenGL API to icrease performance for realtime effects and post-capture image processing.
