#158 Commodore 64CGS - option in C64 model settings

new feature

I'm very satifsied for C64 model settings. But one is still missing.
It's Commodore 64CGS which uses BASIC 4.0 and have more better possibilities.
If is it possible add it to C64 model settings option.

all i can find about this "c64 model" is some rumours, no definitive information or even a firmware dump exists. so it is kinda hard to add, unless you can provide that information.

the only other info besides this rumour i can find is that "c64cgs" infact resembles a regular c64c, which was sold together with the c64gs cartridge and joysticks. that seems a LOT more likely than a c64 using basic v4 to me :)

Theres a link where you can download a dump of the basic/kernel from the c64 games system here: http://www.zimmers.net/cbmpics/c64gs.html

the gs definitely doesn't use basic 4.0

    MIRKOSOFT - 2013-06-23

    Commodore 64CGS

    Introduced 1990
Hardware Identical to the GS, with joystick and cartridge, but with a keyboard, apparently functional port connectors, and a very odd green power light (Commodore almost always used red). Announces itself as BASIC V4 on powerup. May contain the windowing routines that existed in the GS ROMs.
Graphics and Sound Identical to the 64C.
    Released in Ireland only.

Cream-coloured unit resembles a 64C, but also includes the GS joystick and the GS cartridge, and is very clearly marked C64CGS (C Game System).

It's not the GS, it's CGS

this is the rumour i was talking about (from commodores secret weapons). no other information about it exists, which to this day probably means that its completely made up nonsense.

closing this one since there is no evidence for the existance of this C64 model at all
