VFS - Long time dead

I stopped coding on this project a long time ago (as you can see). I simply don't have the time to head this project at the moment. It would be cool though. Therefore if any one wants to head this project instead of me then please write to me. I don't mind still doing some coding, advice on better design etc. but someone else (or a team) would have to head the project. Please contact me if interested.

0.1.2 - mod_rewrite dependency removed

VFS no longer needs mod_rewrite to function correctly. This means that it should now work on any webserver that is PHP enabled. I would like to thank Pablo A.Godel for submitting the solution to this problem.

version 0.1 released!

VFS is a Virtual FileSystem written in PHP. It is aimed at communities that need to share files between different users distributed at different office/buildings etc. Typically, email is not suitable for sharing files because many are more than 8Mb and FTP doesn't give enough flexibility on the user permissions. It is hoped that this solution will get around these problems and offer a more powerful and flexible file sharing system.
