I don't know how Plesk and Tomcat do interact, but provided there are some directory where you can write to, you could modify the content of the context.xml or web.xml within the WAR file before uploading it and set a custom location for you VQWiki configuration properties file. <env-entry> <description>VQWiki propertiesFile</description> <env-entry-name>propertiesFile</env-entry-name> <env-entry-value>/home/kevin/vqwiki.properties</env-entry-value> <env-entry-type>java.lang.String</env-entry-type> </env-entry> See: http://www.vqwiki.org/docs/vqwiki-book.html#d0e2461 By default the location of the vqwiki file based storage is in a "wiki" dir inside your home directory which may be unsuitable for you settings, but you can change it from the admin page at startup. Hope this helps. Let me know if it's ok, so we can add more specific info for shared hosting to the VQWiki docs! --m |
