• Browser compatibility (graceful degradation instead of outright failure)
• Complete separation of code from layout
- Some kind of JavaScript cache so everything that needs to be executed on document load is grouped together
- Possibly a Rails-style framework
• Templating made easier
- Widgets on template, replace current template engine
- Either WordPress-style themes or slightly shallower skins.
