Here comes an interesting situation. There is a KB4034658 Windows 10 update which fails to install while the NOS was encrypted so I've to decrypt the NOS and install it with success. Meanwhile, I don't want to re-encrypt it so soon as I've nothing sensitive on the NOS and it is my usual operating system. If I remember correctly, while the NOS was encrypted, I can mount it while inside the HOS with password1 correct?
While the NOS has been fully decrypted, I was expecting to see it properly in HOS but Disk management still reports it as RAW. I suspect that has to do with the gpt_enc values right? I do not have any intention at the moment to decrypt HOS and update it so is there a way to create a new gpt_enc to replace what's in the USB key?
I tried to run system encryption test on NOS but still giving the password in HOS failed to mount the NOS partition. Please advise many thanks.

Hi, for creating a hidden volume in EFI, is it necessary that the outer volume is a bootable system? In other words: can a hidden volume reside in a data volume as outer (decoy) volume?

You cannot create a hidden volume within the OS partition when using VeraCrypt system encryption for the OS partition. All other partitions you can create VeraCrypt volumes outer/inner for non-OS partitions.

To setup accumulative update it is possible to use the script:

(unhide GPT first)
NOS is RAW - it is strange. Try to check contents of the NOS partition. It can be zero ffiled or random data from HOS. (HOS can restrict access)
