Small update about cores

Well, I've been pretty "off" for a while now. I was planning on a VCL, a CLX, as well as a DLL version, but it was pretty stupid since I just remembered that when I make a CLX version, that can be used in a VCL program as well.. Therefore I'm developing the CLX version (currently approaching v0.1.0b), and once it's done, I'll develop a small test-application, and submit it on here.

I'll need to test the core, which will (in the beginning atleast) be dependent on Indy (the CLX version).

Finally, some action!

Well, a lot of things has happened in the past four days, compared to what has happened before. A lot of things has been sorted out, meaning the need for external modules has been limited to about one (may be changed to two in order to improve the portability, but that's for later).

The core will be using a simpler, but better interface than it has earlier, which will be easier for developers, as well as porting to other languages and systems.... read more

I doubt people are reading this, but...

Currently, a lot of things has been taking place lately, and even though it sure don't look like it, development _IS_ taking place in the project.

Right now, a component is being developed, which offers an interface into the VCL system. It will require some certain modules in order to install it, but it'll make it a lot easier to just develop GUIs.

Wow.. Time flies when you're having fun..

Or something like that.. Anyhow, neither SavageWolf nor I have had time to work on the VFetch project lately, and besides, the XML interface that we're supposed to be depending on, hasn't been finished yet.

More information will be added as soon as I know anything.. Hopefully things will run smoothly soon.

Pre-Alpha Release

I'm currently working on the Pre-Alpha release of this software, and I honestly expected to finish it today. However, this is not the case, and therefore, I'm forced to let you all wait with the update till
tomorrow (or later today, depending on where you are).
