by now two crashes
- first when bounty target showed up (sorry, no logfiles)
- second after killing luddy and trying to continue flight to relay (logfiles attached)
You seem to have CSS turned off.
Please don't fill out this field.
Not sure, last item in the err file was a memory issue. What are your system specs? Also, next time you get a crash attach both log files and you may want to run the internal debugger. I don't remember what commands to use.. I'm sure klauss will post them ;)
Yes, those memory errors definitely seem abnormal. Please post the OS and system specs, amount of RAM, etc. VS needs quite a lot of RAM - if it was linux, and say it's a system with less than 2G and no swap, I can see how it would run out of memory.
it's windows 7 x64 SP1; 8GB memory
after having this crash several times wih the last lines being always something like
File "C:\Program Files (x86)\Vega Strike\modules\dj_lib.py", line 74, in <module>
File "C:\Program Files (x86)\Vega Strike\modules\dj_lib.py", line 51, in <module>
i disabled music and by now i had no more crashes
with the 0.5.0 i never had this problem (i think i had no crashes at all with the 0.5.0)
Must be a programming error somewhere... I'd suspect 64-bit vs 32-bit integer over/underflow if it wasn't evidente in those traces you were running the 32 bit version.
It's always complainign in VS.musicAddList, so I guess we have to start looking there.
yes it's strange - it's in the program files(x86) directory, but it's a 64 bit binary
The VS binary is 32bit. The 64bit binary still hasn't been completed yet. Maybe a 64bit binary will fix some of these errors. Then again it may just cause more of them (or at least make the current ones easier to find/fix).
Is it possible this is python related in some way since windows is now running 2.7 rather than some much earlier version?
