Hi there, I am posting here instead of the forum to keep a low profile on this. The start page in Opera is set to Vector's distrowatch page, and while I understand the desire to have a better rank possition I think it will only give Vl bad press. It has happened in the recent past with gentoo nad some other distro, and the issue does show up eventually. Also, Ladislav from DW is a nice guy and rather fond of VL, so he will probably resent it if we engage in this practice. I havent look into the others browsers. Just IMO. regards. UK. |

sorry guys that is my fault I created a .opera folder to keep opera from using flashplayer9 and copied it over to skel I guess opera opens the last page you were at(good thing I wasnt looking at porn that day LOL) I will get it fixed. Hey, sorrry for the sequel, it s the first time I got network running on 5.8x so I am finding stuuf as I use it. There is another issue with opera, wich is the profile in skel with user permissions instead of root, on top of retaining last user's history it is preventing me from customizing things like the button bars, altough I could install a new skin... anyway, should be owned by root in skel. |
