only one real bug and one cosmetic bug in installer
;cosmetic bug has to do with text explaining X11 install to long or something cuts off at the bottom.
:grub bug good news it gets all the partitions now the bad news it does them twice in the /boot/grub/grub.cfg file. I will clarify that to say all that are detected by the /etc/rc.d/grub.d/10_linux script get double entries. The base install partition for grub is good as get install and recovery. 
M0E just a moment to thank you for all your hard work its starting to see the light now!! You also asked if we saw any performance hits since the change I really didn't notice anything except the install progress seemed much more accurate in regards to the size of the package being installed.
Great job M0E!! please everyone if you haven't tried give this one a go.

As far as the cosmetic bug goes, I think the right way to address this
is to modify the bulk description in VINSTALL.CONF
The description for that bulk is just too long and I think it's an overkill.
It should be short, since when the user un-checks it, the installer
will throw a warning explaining what it is and why you should install
it.

Can you pastebin your grub.cfg?

I dont see how you're getting double entries. You should get 2, one of
them for a normal boot and 1 for recovery mode.

r800 installer:

I'm super-pleased with this installer and KDE installation. Everything was
installed very smoothly with only a few mostly minor installer bugs I've noticed
(bugs are logged with tracker) - mostly just some minor bootloader installation
inconsistencies but no show-stoppers.

One thing I keep noticing but forget to mention is that the 2nd package selection
screen only lists gutenprint. I feel like there's an entire "step" dedicated to
selecting or unselecting one package. Could it possible be included on the last
package selection screen.

1.25 ISO:

I've mostly focused my testing on the installer so I cannot compare a whole lot
between ISOs, however there are a few little things that IMO could use sprucing.
-VasmCC still crashes when selecting Utilities
-VasmCC should be added to the KDE menu Favorites
-Gslapt should be added to the KDE menu Favorites
-At <1024 resolution width the analog clock is orphaned out of the viewable space.
 I had to zoom out of the desktop and drag it into the viewable space to get it back.
-Some KDE menu options are missing icons (e.g. Opera, wpa_gui, browser, vburn)
-Flash is not working in Opera (I've always needed to install the v9 plugin to
 get proper flash functionality in opera >9.63)
-GIMP is missing. Granted I can understand that not everything can be included
 but I would guess that more folks would use GIMP than Inkscape or Scribus. Since
 this release has pushed well into a second CD I think including gimp would be
 work the extra space.
-Kpackage still requires SMART package manager to function properly.
-CUPS cannot be started from VasmCC
-SAMBA cannot be started from VasmCC (perhaps these issues are related to vasmCC??)
-The grass-blade-with-water-droplet wallpaper is stunning, but my inclination is
 that it is a bit color saturated.

Most of these things are pretty minor. Overall, I think this 1.25 iso with the
r800 installer is a great combination.
