Jason has just notified me there is a new slaptnotifier package could somebody please tackle this package? message as follows:
 anyone interested in trying the new slapt update notifier?
 no more gamin, hello dbus
 http://www.jaos.org/~woodwardj/SlaptService.tar.gz
 uncompress, run autoreconf --install && ./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc && make && make install DESTDIR=$PWD/tmp_inst_root
