[Vectorlinux-devel] kde-4.4.0 packages to test

Hello Everyone,
I have built the latest kde 4.4.0 against our present vlsoho6 beta 3 release.
This required several updates as this uses qt 4.6 and python 2.6. I have it running here and its quite nice better speed lots of new features. I would like to feature this in our next soho release (beta 4?) but I need people to try this prior to building an iso as to what bugs need to be addressed on a package level prior to an official release. The packages are here:

Please download all from the base deps and extras into one folder then do in a terminal from that folder upgradepkg --reinstall --install-new *
That should get your beta 3 release updated to the new kde as well as the other support and dep packages. Please report your success and failures so we can iron out the kinks before another official release.
