It appears some code got lost somehow earlier this week, I had been
having different problems here and there.

I dont see much that would cause the install media to not register though.
I have made small changes, can someone else please test this? you
should have ISO's in some partition to make sure you test for the
right thing.
Also, ISO's must be A1.40 or newer, The older ones will no longer
register as valid installation media because of the old style
vinstall.conf.

Works for me, and uel jus ran a test... worked for him too. I'd still
like to see if anyone else has this problem.
