I just tried A1.28 also lots of good news here: using grub I now have a bootsplash first time since we started this run many moons ago. We have a new VL-Theme package installed but its not setup to be default at this point suggest tweaking your advanced\login manager and ksplash settings should get you there..............:) there is some overlap in the text with the new theme in gui mode during bootup I'm sure Masta will fix this. (hint Masta...:) ) vasmcc package still broken...........Uel said he fixed it twice not sure on that and it is still broken in .28 The regional setting can be done but MOE needs to export them to a user .bash_profile file as .bashrc is not read by xsession but works when done in .bash_profile. No need to link them together they work ok as is. Uel I suggest we source /etc/sysconfig/vector and look for something like XKB=1 that instructs vxconf to skip the keyboard setup so its not done twice, MOE this means you need to output XKB=1 >> /etc/sysconfig/vector from installer when all is done if there are changes to keyboard otherwise we leave keyboard at us default I think we are ready to go public with a few tweaks opinions and discussion are welcome Cheers, Robert Robert Lange vec...@ya... http://www.vectorlinux.com --- On Thu, 9/17/09, Newt <gen...@gm...> wrote: > From: Newt <gen...@gm...> > Subject: [Vectorlinux-devel] SOHO-A1.28 > To: "Vector Linux developer's list" <vec...@li...> > Received: Thursday, September 17, 2009, 12:39 AM > Hello All, > > I just got done installing the new 1.28 ISO with r808 > installer.
