Howdy folks,

A pretty serious bug has been discovered that affects both 2.4 and 2.6 kernels:

Linus has already released this one-liner, which should patch the hole for now:

The latest kernel 2.4 seems to already have the patch included.
Anyway, I checked the forum for this, but the security advisory
section doesn't mention it, so I thought I'd just give you vectelopers
a nudge ;)
