Well i tried the same experiment from the installer shell after exiting the installer I tried chroot /mnt/target /sbin/passwdx rob (passwd) and got a seqfault then for fun did useradd robby that worked passwdx robby (passwd) seqfault.............tried adduser from same chroot no problem all worked fine tried userdel worked and useradd worked passwdx seems to seqfault for some reason............would you all try the same and see if we can nail down the seqfault for passwdx............we get this figured out we are almost home............:)
