I Think a Clear goal is vital.  With that said I believe we should also 
consider changing the boot loader to Grub at this time.  I'm getting 
more and more requests for grub.  It seems to be the standard for most 
distros now and most newbies are better acquainted with it.. not that 
lilo is in any way inferior.  If we keep Lilo we should develop an easy 
to use GUI configtool for it that is very straight forward.  Just my two 
cent's worth.
