from those I would prefer #2

I think a good mix of those could be
- the logo size from #2
- the simple background design from #3
- the bkg color from #3 modded down in brightness and saturation, if you
excuse the example, colores closer to the basket icon in the screenshots.

Btw, with all due respect, the way "VectorLinux" was... err... used in some
of the recent default wallpapers
[the /\ thing] really breaks apart from what should be the 'official' logo.
