Okay, then I'm definitely not seeing it, because I can input the name 
and finish
the dialogue.  Also tested in xfce, just in case.

I took a quick look in the forum and noticed GrannyGeek is also experiencing
this bug.

I can build it either way.  If a non-calendar build is decided on, I 
can provide
an unofficial and unsupported calendar build.  I normally make 1.0.x calendar
builds, anyway.

For what it's worth, I doubt this will be fixed upstream.  My understanding is
that the Calendar project has dropped support for SeaMonkey 1.8 branch (1.1b)
and trunk (1.5a).
