I've just uploaded a new seamonkey package. I think the problem with the duplicate kde menu entries was caused by having both a seamonkey.desktop and a seamonkey-browser.desktop copied into /usr/share/applications. In this build, I removed seamonkey-browser.desktop and left seamonkey.desktop in. After uninstalling the previous build and installing this one, there is now only one seamonkey-browser entry in the kmenu. I'm still not seeing the seamonkey icons in KDE's kmenu (however, someone with kde 3.5 needs to check this, as I'm using kde 3.4.2). (I compiled and packaged before looking at Joe1962's template ... I think I should have kept seamonkey-browser.desktop and discarded seamonkey.desktop instead.) I also edited both helper desktop entries, seamonkey-browser.desktop and seamonkey-mailer.desktop, to include "NotShowIn=KDE" as the last line, as recommended by John. Appears okay in xfce as well. best, incognu |
