CUPS works now :-) =


I added one network printer using a print server and another using SMB.
Interesting change from previous versions, it does not ask for
credentials until you complete the final step in adding printer or
making other changes.

After adding the printers, I selected CUPS in Xfce Settings > "Printer
System Settings". In Accessories >"Print Manager" the printers show up
as "Unknown".  Only apps I found that could see the printers were
Seamonkey and GIMP.
