[Vectorlinux-devel] Dynamite 5.9.8.15 Observations

Here are my contributions:
BUGS:

- cannot use the vinstall-iso script to install Dynamite from iso on
hard disk. Error: initrd contains no setup program.

ANNOYANCES:

- start box on wdm login screen still has fluxbox, icewm listed.
- /root directory (taken from vlconfig.tlz) still has .fluxbox
and .icewm directories
- menu looking good now: just a few little bits yet:
	- file manager xffm, change to thunar
	- the gimp has no icon
	- sylpheed should be in network section?

SUGGESTIONS:

- keep SeaMonkey despite some suggestions to the contrary on the forum.
It is full featured, fast and wraps up a number of apps all in one.
Have a package in repository for Firefox and Opera, or at least a good
howto on how to install from their websites.

- do we need xcdroast as well as xfburn?

- remove old VL Penguin image from wdm login screen and replace with
the newer VL world image?
