Nik, I cannot give a definitive answer, but I have found vdosplus to be
remarkably compatible with all the MS DOS software I have tried. And the
text graphics are quite lovely. I have not had to tinker with the config
file to achieve it. This is on a Windows machine. I have even had some
success running MS DOS programs under vdosplus while running vdosplus under
WINE on a Linux machine, though it's certainly not as smooth as on the
Windows machine.
