#21 Hi-Octane(Bullfrog) WinXP crash

When I launch Hi-Octane(Bullfrog) on Windows XP, with
the sound properly configured, the command prompt
crash. Looking at the task manager showed that it try
to eat all the memory of the computer. It seems a
memory allocation trouble( it try to allocate gigabytes
of RAM ? ).
If I disable the sound in the HiOctane setup the game
start correctly( very very fast, but well ).
