I tried to use Avery's DshowInputDriver for video load doesn't seem to work with Virtualdub2. That is it did load and gave infor for avc1 aac mp4 file video and audio using LavFilters. But unable to play threadlock error. Unregistered LavFIlters and high merit for x264vfw had also error unknwn if it use x264vfw or not XP LavFilters registered again.

Also when loading select options does nothing maybe my version I'm using is to old.

DShowInputDriver.vdplugin v0.9.3.0
I doubt this version above is the most recent it is the one I have you may have better and one to use with Virtauldub2

Have you an newer version that can be used with Virtualdub2.

Maybe a version that has option to use or not use LavFilters to load Direct Show codecs. I think Avery did mention long time ago now he implemented so it also could use graph edit or something. Though that could be something else over a decade ago to long to remember details we would have read then, now.

    Did you tried to use it on an older VDub version to see if it works? If so, you may transcode to a lossless (Lagarith) codec and then reopen it on modern vdub2.

    Excuse me I should have directed the question at Anton Shekhovtsov. It is a question to see if he could give solution for why DShowInputDriver.vdplugin v0.9.3.0 doesn't work ATM with VD2 and if he could update it to work with VD2.

    DShowInputDriver.vdplugin is a Video-Audio Input Driver that would allow users to load video and audio directly into VD2. The more options the user has, better for VD2 for having them.

      I never paid much attention to DShowInputDriver, maybe tried it once and was dissatisfied. I'm under impression it is not worth it.
