#385 video not being catured

I'm having some trouble with the most recent version of virtualdub2_44282 and a BlackMagic Intensity Shuttle. I have it connected directly via usb3.0 to a x299 motherboard and have attempted to Capture to numerous times with each time failing. See Crashinfo.txt attached. I went through the open tickets and saw a similar ticket #380 so I tried applying the provided patch 44331.zip. This resolved the crashing but now selecting Capture just generates a null response - a blank preview window and no processing. I've tried reloading both Vdub2 and the BlackMagic driver. The following devices show up:

0 MS WDM Image Capture - nothing happens
1 Blackmagic WDM Capture (2) (DirectShow) - crashes to device not found
2 DeckLink Video Capture (DirectShow) - nothing happens

Any ideas?

Please suggest debug path.
