#39 64 bits ARCH: VDE libraries aregenerated in lib NOT in lib64

VDE version: vde2-2.3.1
LINUX version: 2.6.33.8-149.fc13.x86_64
ARCH x86_64 (highly experimental as mention here: http://wiki.virtualsquare.org/index.php/Getting_started#System_requirements\)

compiled with the following command:
./configure --prefix=/usr

=> all VDE libs are generated in lib repository and not in the lib64 repository
=> That's why on 64 bits VirtualBox CAN'T find the VDE Adapter.
=> libs moved to lib64, it WORKS ;)

Hi!

Can you please explain the rationale behind using lib64 instead of lib?
Both Filesystem Hierarchy Standard and Fedora Packaging Guidelines
don't state clearly when/if lib64 should be used.
