There have been no updates since 11/2018, so I'm wondering... has VcXsrv been discontinued? Looks like this forum is not being 'attended' by Devs either :(

Installer did not work for me - could not write to Programs folder ( C:\Program Files\VcXsrv ). So I used the installed for the prior version, vcxsrv.1.20.1.4.installer.exe. Not sure if anyone else had this problem.

Required reboot on my PC to get install to work, in case anyone else has the same problem. Kind of weird, but it worked and I now have 1.20.5.1 installed on my machine

Yeah, it does seem pretty inactive if there haven’t been updates since 2018, so it’s understandable to worry about maintenance. In cases like this, people usually either switch to alternatives or community forks if they exist. I’ve seen similar situations where users just move on and even take breaks to visit ZD999 game while looking for other tools.
