#166 VcXsrv adds English-US keyboard on start

I'm running VcXsrv under Windows 11 Pro. I have language packs installed for both English and Japanese. Since I have a Japanese QWERTY keyboard, that's the layout I've chosen for both English and Japanese inputs.

Whenever I start VcXsrv, it always adds the English-US QWERTY keyboard layout under English, without any action on my part whatsoever. What's even stranger is that when I go to the Time & Language > Language & region > Options settings in Windows for English, the keyboard isn't in the list of installed keyboards. I then have to install the English-US QWERTY keyboard and then remove it to resolve this problem.
