I must admit it was a shock to see that a message has been posted on this forum.
since I started my university studies, develpment on this project has stopped, and
I completely forgot about the existance of this project.
so the answer is no, there is no new release.
only the release that you can download in the download section.
since I have no plans to ever take this project back up again,
I have flagged it as inactive and requested SF to orphanage the project.
(meaning that the project won't have any members or even an administrator)
If you would like to take it over, then you are welcome to do so, but I will shed all responsibilty of the project.
I am currently following a course on the matter of 3d engine's, so this project is death in my eyes.
I'm currently writting a raytracer engine in Java as an asssignment for that course, wich is already much better than this project.
If you are interested in the topic their are some excellent books about it.
the one we follow at the university is
Fundamentals of Computer Graphics
author: Peter Shirley
it is very readible, and explains the basic techniques used in such 3D engine's
I really recommend it.
