While VBA (Win32 Version) can be run on Linux using Cedega/WineX, it is quite...klunky. A proper interface (not a simple front-end) should be included in a future release. This interface should include most, if not all, of the features of the Win32 version. Except for the obvious, Direct3D and DirectDraw rendering and such. I realize that such a task would be time consuming and the VBA devlopment staff is streached as it is. If this is not assigned, perhaps a Linux devloper will see this and make many Linux users quite happy. I have attepted to do this task myself, but being rather new to the Linux devloping world, my attempts have failed. But then again...

the current gtk interface is turning out pretty well. bravo devs!
one thing it's lacking, however is a fullscreen mode. is there something keeping this from happening?
