#181 MBN 4 Blue Moon Export battery save from 1.7.2 to 0.8
I am playing Megaman Battle Network 4: Blue Moon
and i reached the part where the tournament begins. In
DenDome, i went to start the tournment. I went upstairs
in the building and talked to the Shilley kind of person.
He tells me im the 8th person and blah blah blah. Then
he says I need to look at the tournament pairings. He
enters the door. Now this is where the problem starts. I
stand in front of the board and my screen turns white
and it freezes. I found out that this is a problem only in
version 0.9c(i think) and up(found out from a webpage i
can't find any more). I heard that this problem doesn't
occur in version 0.8. I found out that save states from a
newer version dont work in an older version. So, i need
to normally save from the game battery. The thing is
that i need to be able to load the game normally in 0.8. I
copied my rom into the VBA 0.8 folder i made for
myself. I also copied the .sav file with the normally
saved game. Now, when i load the rom in 0.8, and press
start, i only see a START NEW GAME button. I don't
see a Continue button. The .sav is the same file name
as the .gba so i don't know what the problem is. I even
tried importing the battery file. It says, "Importing the
snapshot file will erase any saved games and reset the
emulator. Do you want to continue?" I click ok and
choose my .sav file. The emulator just resets and i
come back to the screen where it says press start.
When i press start, i just get the screen with START
GAME and no continue.
I couldn't play MBN 4 for 2 days and was looking
forward to it. Trying to fix this problem from since then.
Is the only solution to restart the whole game in 0.8.
Any help would be appreciated.
Also, since there is not bug report option in 0.8, i
cannot give one.

Also, i suggest the authors to include the code of 0.8 that
fixes the white screen in newer versions or undo changes
made from 0.9 and up. I am not even sure if it works in 0.8
but from what i am hearing from everybdoy else, it seems to.

I have played MBN 1 to 5 without any problem. I am using
vba 1.7.2. Maybe you have used some cheats, to screw up a
game.
