New Version Released! 0.95

This release is a SECURITY UPDATE for vaxbb, fixing a path-browsing issue. Also, a few features and miscellaneous fixes... definitely the best release yet.

d/l source from vaxbb homepage; sourceforge stubborn

I don't know why, but yet again Sourceforge will not upload my file. Says file is there, links to file, yet no file. You may download the vaxbb source from http://www.omar.org/opensource/vaxbb/files/vaxbb-0.93.tar.gz .

Ah...

Well, I don't know why the file won't show up. I uploaded and added the file, but v.0.92 says "no files." O well, if you can't see 'em either, hit http://www.omar.org/opensource/vaxbb/ to get the new release. I'm going to bed. :)

0.91 Released!

Here's a real version of vaxbb that's actually easy to install and quite usable. If you looked at it before (and threw it away after balking at the mess), you might want to check this version.

Better version coming soon. . .

I'm working on a more "installable" version of vaxbb, so that anyone that wants to try it can
download it, extract it into their web directory (into htdocs/vaxbb and cgi-bin/vaxbb), change
one HTMLROOT file, and give the bb a whirl -- after creating an htpasswd file, of course.

Has anyone tried it? Anyone gotten it to work? Like it? Hate it? I see there have been some downloads, but I haven't gotten any feedback.... read more
