Well, some visiting here may know me from the hackersquest forums, others may not.. but vash invited me to further develop this project and i accepted and in the coming weeks i will be doing some neat things with the project, i already have a fix out for the new chat format and i will have to post it here as well as update the cvs with my newest code.. anyway any requests or anything and you can email me at evolseven at comcast dot net

I have cancelled my AO accounts, the AI expansion is such a disappointment to so many that even I can't get people to do alien raids much anymore *sighs* and so many have left. The main thing keeping me was VASHBot, but the people I made VASHBot for (my guild mates, and my friends guilds) well most of them have left. What is worse one of the key motivations I had was Purr, somehow he'd always get me inspired to fix something or add something else he was a tremendous inspiration and was wonderful to work with on VASHBot, without him half of the features the bot has today it would not have. He canceled his account a few days ago, and I just don't think I can keep myself motivated about it especially since I've found WoW and now I'll vent a little about how totally awesome WoW is.... read more

A few more fixes:
- There was still some problems with the Alts plugin that caused Errors, this has been corrected.
- The !alts command now lists the main if the character is actually an alt of another character.

That's pretty much it, sorry about the lack of features I've been working really hard on the Scripting Plugin, which I think will be very much worth the wait.

Just fixing the Alts Plugin, set main should work now.

I've been working hard on the Scripting System for vashbot, as long as no other bugs come up, their shouldn't be another release of vashbot until that is completed.

Emergancy Fix for the !online Command
I really should stop doing releases while at work they just don't get enough testing, anyrate sry about that.

- Another attept at fixing the !online exception that keeps happening, I think I got it this time.
- Fix for the non-members showing in the members list
- Fix for the Update check service, you can now safely turn this service on.

New:
- New alts system, alts now run through a verification system for more information type !help alts

- Fixed a problem introduced in Beta 7 which caused problems for non american users of VASHBot.
- Fixed a problem with the GenericCommands not working

New Stuff:
- Added the !bio command, the bio command is used to identify alien bio-material without actually useing a tool on it. you can use this by doing !bio <item link to bio materal>

- Huge bug in the members service upgrade method, sorry about that which caused the members service not to load.

No new features just a few fixes:
- Added checks for null senders is most major area's this should stop the mass amount of popup errors some are getting lately.
- Added some better removal code for the !is command, this should prevent people who have been !is'd from showing up on the online list.

New Stuff:
- !history command for the Whois plugin
- Teams Plugin to help orgainize teams for alien raids etc.. do /tell Yourbot help teams
- !roll notify command to toggle the tell notification on or off, its default is on, but to decrease bot lag you can now turn it off.
- !roll end has been added to the help.
- The online listings should now be alphabetized and a little better formated.... read more

Emergancy Fix:
Sorry still getting used to CVS, a stupid debug fix didn't make it into the build .. which causes massive pop-ups when someone does an !online download beta 6 it fixes it.

- Fixed a bug in the Online Tracking Service that would cause an Error when someone did an !online
- Fixed a bug in the Members service which caused it to send the Advanced news info on sign off

New Features:
- The Online tracking Plugin now has an is command (thx bystander)
- The Raid plugin has some new commands do a !help raid to view them (thx Purr)
- The timer plugin now has a !timer check
- Added an RSS plugin, do a !help rss to learn how to use it.

Ok, GotDotNet barfed on us, and so after some discussion and trudging we got the source for VASHBot hosted here at Sourceforge. ^_^
