Say I measure the horizontal displacement of two points P1:=vec(0,0), and P2:=vec(1,1). Instead of having to add construction lines and then use arcl(SOME_LINE) to get the displacement, I could use the value displayed by ldim()? Maybe some function like fdim() that returns a float for the displayed value.
