#1404 Statistics: existing turn red when not need to

Description:
When the spatial extends change, existing statistics change to red font to indicate that they are out of date. (good)
However, if I don't change the spatial extents but to add a new variable. The statistics of the old variables still change to red. (bad, since they're not out of date.)
