Hello, thank you for your effort developing Vanted. We have a big problem anyway, perhaps it's the way we want to use it.

The thing is that we already have a database system which is in charge of keeping all the model information and we want to use Vanted as a way to visualize the models, so, we export a model as sbgn, and open it in Vanted, then, we export from Vanted to sbgn and we can even modify our model, or at least, store all the graph visual information.

Everything works fine except for one critical problem, we need Vanted to keep the id attribute of every glyph and arc. For some reason I can't understand, Vanted wipes out all our id's and replace them with generic "glyph1" which is completely useless.

Is already there a solution for this problem? Do you think it would be a mess to achieve it? As I really need it, I can help.

Regards, Diego.

    Hello Diego,

thanks for your interest in VANTED and SBGN-ED!
    I'm aware of this problem.
But I do not completely understand what you are going to do with the ids.
I think we should discuss more personal. Could you please go to
www.sbgn-ed.org/copyright_contact.html and send a mail to the address mentioned there?
    Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tobias

It is not a Vanted problem but a SBGN-ED problem.
