#1 Spell checking

here's how it currently works:
you highlight what you want to spell check, and click 'check
spelling' button. the highlighted text is pasted into the
spell check dialogue box within the pop-up window. Sweet,
that's cool. but...
a suggestion:
IF no text is selected at the time you click the spell check
button, no text is inserted into the box in the pop--up
window. Is there a way to check if text is highlighted, and
if not, automatically select all of the article copy? This
way, if you simply wanted to spell check the whole thing,
you could just click the button, and the article would be
highlighted and pasted into the pop-up window.
