Hi,
I have a suggestion for the --trace-children option.
I'd like to see each child get logged into a separate log file, kind of the way
that strace does.
at present, what i am seeing, is that all children go into the same log file,
possible overwritting each other's valgrind info (especially with threads :)
Perhaps I missed a command line option to separate the output into separate
files.
here is the command line i'm currently using.
valgrind --log-file=gyachi --show-reachable=yes --num-callers=100
--leak-check=yes --leak-resolution=high --error-limit=no --trace-children=yes
-v -v -v gyachi
all threads log to the same file, instead of different files with PID as th
eextension.
anything i'm missing ?
thx, and best rgds,
-Greg
