Is there a legal requirement to notify the authors of Valgrind in the event of it being referenced in a book? Specifically, I have written (partially) a book 'C of Peril' in which I make reference to Valgrind in the 'Links' section (saying good things of course ;-). The book is available for download (PDF) to anyone at: http://www.pldaniels.com/c-of-peril Regards. -- PLDaniels - Software - Xamime Unix systems Internet Development A.B.N. 19 500 721 806 PGP Public Key at http://www.pldaniels.com/gpg-keys.pld |

Not that I'm aware of... but if there is, I guess you are now in compliance :) [Actually, is such a requirement even possible?] I have no problem with the reference. N |

Stephan, > I just had a quick look at it. > Great stuff. > Thanks for posting here. I reckon you met the right audience ;-) Thanks, I thought it might strike a bit of a chord with this mailing group - of course, wanting to clear any legalities that may have arisen (which have been cleared I see :-) Feel free to send along any snippets of bad C code, I'm always looking for more, especially in the following areas: 1. Macros gone bad 2. Optimisations that miss coner-case 3. Compound statements that simply make your brain pop Paul. -- PLDaniels - Software - Xamime Unix systems Internet Development A.B.N. 19 500 721 806 PGP Public Key at http://www.pldaniels.com/gpg-keys.pld |
